User Management

STINGAR users can be added, modified and removed via the User Management feature found under Settings. Click [Settings] at the bottom of the sidebar on the left. Then click [Go] on the User Management Card.

Add New User

You may add new users by clicking on the [Add New User] button.

Remove User

To remove a user, from the 'Manage Users' page, select the user to delete. Click on the [Actions] button on the right side of the screen and select [Delete User] from the drop down.

View Your API Key

When a user is created, STINGAR automatically creates a unique key for them that allows them to retrieve information from the repository of honeypot attack info and to manage other STINGAR data. Users who would like to access information with other tools (such as Kibana) need to provide this key to the tool. How can you find out what your api key is? From the User Management page, select your row from the list of users to open your profile. Click on the [Actions] button that appears in the upper right. The dropdown will include an option to View your API Token.

Change Your API Key

To change your API Key, from your user profile page, click on the [Actions] button. This will prompt you to verify that you really do want to change your API Key. If you confirm, it will immediately change your key display the new one. Because the key changes immediately, to continue working in the STINGAR app, you will need to log out of your STINGAR session and log back in.
